Nonsense – Yessense

 

Did you ever sketch something very random, at random moment, out of the moment, place and topic, on extremely random piece of paper, brochure, ticket, tea bag, tissue, toilet paper (used or clean), bulky report or whatever comes on hand?

I bet you did it... That little pastime scribbles!

And when the act is finished you throw the paper graciously in to the trash bin…

Stop! Do not kill your art!

Yes, that scribbles are Nonsense because they are random, you never wanted, you never planned to initiate them, they have no meaning and have no value, there is nothing serious about them and they are just silly, right?

No, that scribbles are Yessense because that random lines, shapes or whatever are impulsive, unintentional, quick short cuts to the subconsciousness. They exhibit your genuine feelings, your sincere experience, your “Primal Scream”. Take them out of the shits and exam under the microscope of your imagination and you will find a whole new world. (And if you don’t find just fxxx off).

Make sense out of the senseless. Give them names. Give them life. Give them love. They make sense.

They are the Yessense.
